Hi ppl, thinking of reformating my system and backing up my passwords in DigitalPersona. Am I right in thinking FirefoxSE will forget all my web entry saves in doing so? Is there a folder or file I need to backup?

Are you referring to the "automatic popup" feature?

Fingerfox (SE) saves info in 2 different locations.

1. (automatic popup and other settings)
Open a new tab in firefox
Go to the adress: "about:config" (without quotes)
Search for fingerfox
The fingerfox.favform is impotant (automatic popup)
Rightclick and copy the value.
When you want to put it back, simply go back there, doubleclick and insert. Eventually Rightclick and select new string, name it fingerfox.favform and insert the data.

A bit complicated but no easier way to do it at this time.

2. (port configuration and changed titles).
XP: C:\Documents and settings\Username\Application Data\Fingerfox (SE)\
Vista: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Fingerfox (SE)\
Be aware that folders are hidden by default, typing manually in location bar will work though.

Alternatively you can copy the entire Mozilla Firefox folder in the same path as above. That will copy all firefox addons and settings etc.
