- Fingerprint login does not work even with Fingerfox (SE) installed
Make sure that you press ALT+X, click the fingerfox icon in the statusbar or enable automatic popup before trying to use your fingerprint reader to login.
- I receive an error: “No connection to the Fingerfox (SE) window”
This problem can occur due to a variety of reasons. The most common is that your firewall blocks the internal fingerfox connection, or that the port is in use by a different application. Try rightclicking on the fingerfox icon, select “change portsettings”, click auto configuration and save. If still a problem, please report the problem.
- I have found a site that does not work with Fingerfox (SE)
You should try to use the special site feature in the Fingerfox (SE) rightclick menu. If you can’t make it work, report it in the bugtracking system.
- My fingerprint reader is not a Microsoft Fingerprint Reader, can I use Fingerfox (SE) anyway?
It is hard to tell. Fingerfox (SE) is not made specifically for the MS Fingerprint Reader, but is only tested with that. Give it a try.
