  • I receive an error: “No connection to the Fingerfox (SE) window”
This problem can occur due to a variety of reasons. The most common is that your firewall blocks the internal fingerfox connection, or that the port is in use by a different application. Try rightclicking on the fingerfox icon, select “change portsettings”, click auto configuration and save. If still a problem, please report the problem.

  • Can I use Fingerfox (SE) on a 64-bit version of windows?
Short answer: No. However, the Fingerfox (SE) software it-self will most likely work on a 64-bit OS, but you will still need to have the Fingerprint Reader software installed (for instance DigitalPersona). Since the DigitalPersona software released for the Microsoft Fingerprint Reader is not compatible with 64-bit OS, you will not be able to take advantage of Fingerfox (SE). If you use some other device with software that is 64-bit compatible, you should be able to use Fingerfox (SE) – not tested.
